David Lindwall. Reborn. 1982. Inc. is committed to provide a spirit-controlled, disciplined academic environment, conductive to learning and exploring, in a spirit true to the believes of the David Lindwall. Reborn. 1982. Establishment.

In this atmosphere we accept and educate students of all ages, sex, religion (if any) according to the well being of everyone. Even though that could cause emotional and painful journeys to reach the graduation after the 7 Days of DLR1982 Survival Camp.

We create free-thinkers and offer spiritual rejuvenation both internal and external. Creating a mind free of enslavement from financial and existential afflictions. With a strong bond through survival exercises, camping, hunting, camp building and living life to it's fullest potential on our 30+ acres farm in Upstate New York. Learning standards that have been defined over a century by the David Lindwall. Reborn. 1982. Corporation.

SPECIFIC SKILLS YOU WILL ACQUIRE

FIRE
: You will be though to build, maintain and extinguish a camp fire using a light weight magnesium flint stone fire-starter. Gather and cut down firewood.

SHELTER
: You will learn how to build a wind a waterproof shelter from limbs, branches, leaves and ropes, pull weeds from the ground, dig roots from the ground. Basic outpost skills - climbing threes, rappelling - food safe storage.


HUNTING
: You will make your very own hunting knife from bare steel. Temper the blade, selecting suitable wood for your knife handle and learn how to sharpen and maintain a sharp blade. The knife you make you will of course take home with you. Basic aiming and shooting safety course and target practice (pellet gun).


PROVISION
: You will hunt small game, learn how to skin them out, tan their hides and use the meat to make survival food. How ever we do believe in a plant based diet and will be cooking and eating mainly vegetarian meals. The knowledge of hunting game is essential for extreme surviving conditions. Meals will be made with herbs and nourishment from the ground (roots/weeds) and organic local (and indigenous plants) and farms.


NAVIGATION
: You will learn how to navigate in mountain terrain both with and without compass. You will learn about local plants and threes and their potential uses. We will be drinking water from our natural spring on the property.

You will learn how to make your own insect replant using organic and natural herbs and oils.

You will also learn how to make your own sunscreen using similar methods.

CLOSING CEREMONIES
DLR 1982 Survival Camp Graduation Ceremony will be held outside the main Victorian Farm House on the property on Friday Evening at 18:00 There will be a BBQ picnic family style meal for all attendees with food and drinks. (we encourage to invite good friends and family, food and drinks will not be included) If desired you can camp an extra night on our grounds and vacate the property on Saturday morning at no extra fee. (How ever a bed probably sounds pretty good right about this time).

At the end of graduation you will receive (if graduating) a personal diploma and and signed limited edition David Lindwall. Reborn. 1982. T-shirt to be worn with pride.


RULES AND REGULATIONS

Once you enter the DLR 1982. Grounds you will have no personal electronic devices including GPS transmitters and receivers, mobile phones, tablets etc.

You will have no access to telephone or Wi-Fi when the camp has started. You are also required to do what's best for the group and your personal survival.

All allergies should be reported 14 days before start of camp.

A deposit of 1,000.00 USD is required 14 days prior to camp start

You will be fed through out the camp. If you require big portions (don't) or bring personal snacks since this is a survival camp you wont be feed gluttonous.

You will learn how to make your own charcoal water filters and to carve your own eating utensils. Fashion fishing lures from sticks and catch your own fish from our river that runs through the property.


Some transport will be done by ATV.

BREAKDOWN

The course is divided into 2 stages. The beginning days will be spent camping close to our main office and learning the skills and making your hunting knife that will later be put to use. You will make your hunting/survival knife and learn how to use it.

The end days of the camp will be spent in the "wild". We will do a 10+ mile hike until we reach our destination for base camp. You will learn how to survive individually but the work will be divided up among the participants and rotated through out the camp.

You will learn how to deal with fear, determination and reliance on self.
